Tech's Santiago UP for ESPN Pontiac Game Changing Performance

RUSTON - Louisiana Tech senior linebacker Byron Santiago intercepted a Paul Pinegar pass late in the fourth quarter and returned it 16 yards to the Bulldog 16-yard line setting up Ryan Moats game-winning touchdown run two plays later.

For his efforts, Santiago is one of four players nationwide up for this week's Pontiac Game Changing Performance. Louisiana Tech fans can log onto www.espn.com/pontiac and vote for Santiago and help decide which school gets Pontiac's $5,000 general scholarship contribution.

Viewing and voting has begun and ends Thursday at 9 a.m. CST. Watch Thursday's ESPN half-time show to catch the winner.
