Moats Named WAC, CollegefootballNews.com and SI.com Player of the Week

RUSTON - The honors just keep mounting for Louisiana Tech junior running back Ryan Moats following his performance in the Bulldogs 28-21 win over No. 17 Fresno State.

The All-American candidate rushed for 236 yards and a career-high four touchdowns, his third 200-plus yard performance of the young season. Moats scored on runs of 6, 83, 1 and 8 yards with his 83-yard score late in the third quarter being the third longest run in Tech history.

For his efforts, Moats was named the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, Collegefootballnews.com WAC Player of the Week and SI.com National Player of the Week.
