RUSTON, La. - Officials from ESPN and the Western Athletic Conference announced Wednesday that the Nov. 17 Louisiana Tech vs. Utah State game in Ruston will be broadcast by ESPN3.
The two teams have the two best records in the Western Athletic Conference this season. The Bulldogs, currently ranked 24th in the Associated Press Poll, are 6-1 (1-0 WAC) while Utah State is 6-2 (2-0 WAC). Tech and Utah State were projected to finish first and second, respectively, in the WAC this year.
Kickoff for that game is currently set for 6 p.m. CT. All dates and times are subject to change.
Louisiana Tech leads the all-time series against Utah State, 6-3, and has won six of the last seven meetings but three of the last four games in the series have been decided by a touchdown or less. Last year, Colby Cameron came into the game in the third quarter and led Tech to a 24-17 victory in Logan.
The Bulldogs travel to New Mexico State (1-6, 0-3 WAC) this weekend with a 7 p.m. CT kickoff set in Las Cruces. That game will be broadcast on ESPN Game Plan and ESPN3.
