LA Tech Football Signs Justin Goodman to National Letter of Intent

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech announced the signing of cornerback Justin Goodman to a National Letter of Intent Wednesday afternoon. Goodman, a cornerback at Blinn Junior College, signed with LA Tech after winning the 2009 national championship for junior colleges.

A 5'10", 180-pound defensive back, Goodman has starting experience at both cornerback and safety. A product of Houston's Alief Hastings High School, Goodman is able to report early to Tech and participate in spring practice.

In two seasons at Blinn, Goodman had 165 total tackles with 75 tackles and one interception coming this season. Goodman also recorded two forced fumbles and three tackles for a loss.

Wednesday, Dec. 16 is the first day this year when junior college prospects can sign with four-year colleges.
