Bulldogs Ink Strong Safety

Louisiana Tech added another defensive junior college signee on Friday as Keeven Moore signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Bulldogs.

The December JC transfer signing period began on Wednesday and Louisiana Tech signed four JC players on Thursday to make Moore the fifth.

Moore was a standout strong safety at Northeast Oklahoma A&M, where the 5-11, 190-pounder totaled 76 tackles in 2004 after totaling 16 as a freshman.

He was one of four JC defensive backs the Bulldogs have signed over the past two days, joining be cornerback Lurico "Rico" Wood of Northeast Mississippi Community College, cornerback Sandy Collins of Pearl River Community College and free safety Marquis Spurgon of Itawamba Community College as well as middle linebacker Jason Anthony of Holmes Community College.
