Louisiana Tech University

Thank you for your interest in LA Tech Athletics. This site is intended for use by members of the media only. No credential requests by media will be accepted by either email or phone, but must go through this credential site for season and individual game passes. Past coverage and attendance at football games, football media luncheons, men's and women's basketball games, media session and baseball and softball games for the 2011-12 season will be take into consideration for granting of credentials during the 2012-13 calendar year.
The entrance to the Joe Aillet Stadium press box is located through the press elevator, located on the West Side of Joe Aillet Stadium. The elevator will be in operation three hours prior to kickoff. Media Will Call is located at the press box elevator.
LA Tech follows NCAA and WAC rules regarding media representatives on the sideline:
- Credentials must be worn at all times in order to gain access to the field. All photographers/videographers on the sideline must be in a working capacity with equipment. Non-University Photographers are NOT permitted to shoot between the 25-yard lines and must wear armbands at all times.
- No credentials will be issued to free lance photographers, equipment carriers or radio station representatives, except for individuals affiliated with the two teams' broadcast originating networks.
- Seating in the press box will be prioritized and issued by the LA Tech SID office. Due to space restrictions, there might be some games that photographers and other non-deadline media members are not issued seating in the Joe Aillet Stadium Press box. No one under 18 years of age will be issued a credential for media access without prior approval of the SID.
- Photographers or videographers are considered working members of the media and they are to refrain from cheering or talking to players, coaches or officials.
Joe Aillet Stadium is equipped with power outlets at every seat with wireless available throughout the press area and a limited number of Ethernet lines available. A limited number of telephones are available along press row. If a private telephone line is needed, call AT&T at 866-260-6000. When ordering phone lines, put the AT&T representative in touch with Donnie Owens at 318-257-3525.
Quarterly play-by-play, offensive and defensive statistics and quotes from players (LA Tech only) and both coaches will be passed out as soon as they are compiled.

Media parking is located in the lot on front of the Charles Wyly Athletic Center in the south end of Joe Aillet Stadium on a first come, first serve basis. The overflow media lot is across Alabama Ave from the Charles Wyly Athletic Center in the intramural softball field (weather permitting). If rain, the overflow media parking lot will be the parking lot adjacent to the Lady Techster Softball Complex on Tech Drive. Because of limited space, requests for parking should be made with credential requests. It should not be assumed that parking passes will be provided with all media credentials.
Due to space limitations, scouts of professional football teams are only issued seats in the Joe Aillet Stadium press box if space allows. NFL Scouts are allowed down on the playing surface during pregame warm-ups but are then asked to find their seats in the press box or stands prior to kickoff. Scouts will not be allowed to remain on the sidelines during the game.
TV stations must request satellite truck access and must have a truck in place at least two hours prior to kickoff. Any satellite truck arriving less than two hours prior to kickoff may be denied access to the stadium. Requests for parking area for satellite trucks must be made by noon on Wednesday prior to Saturday games and must be confirmed through Associate AD Malcolm Butler. No other vehicles will be allowed to park with the satellite truck and all credentials for personnel must be included in the online request.
