WEST POINT, Miss. - Louisiana Tech’s men’s golf team finished the day tied for 13th as play was suspended in the second round late Monday at the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship.

The Bulldogs finished the first round of play – the only round with official scores – tied for 12th at 10-over-par (298). The tournament started two hours late as course officials worked to get the course ready for play after flash floods affected the area Sunday. The late start Monday forced tournament officials to halt play before the end of the second round due to darkness.

After one official round of play, Victor Lange led LA Tech with an even-par 72, tying him for 16th place overall. The sophomore is 1-over-par in the second round with two holes left to play. Senior Travis Wilmore followed at 2-over-par (74) placing him tied for 32nd and is 2-over-par in the second round with one hole left to play.

Play in the second round will resume Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. as golfers will finish out the second round before the tournament begins the third and final round with a shotgun start.
