Bulldog Golfers at Old Waverly

Louisiana Tech will play its final match before the Western Athletic Conference championships as the Bulldog golfers travel to Old Waverly Golf Club Monday and Tuesday to compete in the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship hosted by Mississippi State.

Head coach Jeff Parks and the Bulldogs are one of 14 teams competing in the two-day, 54-hole event which will include 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.

Tech will join 28th ranked Mississippi, 48th ranked South Alabama, Cincinnati, UAB, Rice, UL-Lafayette, Georgia State, Memphis, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Arkansas State and Middle Tennessee at the tournament.

The Bulldogs will be represented by freshmen Victor Lange, Ben Robinson and Brandon Newton, junior Travis Wilmore and senior Sam Forgan.
