Men's 4x100 Places Ninth in Nation

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Louisiana Tech's men's 4x100 team of local athletes in junior Mike Coleman, sophomore Al Fullwood along with freshmen Josh Harvey and Terry Carter ran a time of 39.88 seconds and placed ninth in the entire nation Wednesday night at the 2008 NCAA National Meet. "They ran real well," Tech head coach Gary Stanley said. "I'm very proud of that team. They've been getting the job done for us, and I can't say enough how thrilled we are. Freshman Larry Jones finished 24th in the nation with a throw of 190 feet, 9 inches in the javelin. Juniors Phelecia Reynolds and Nadia Alexander will both have their results in Thursday.
