Tech Athletes to Compete in Pan-American Games
RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil -- Some Louisiana Tech athletes, both former and current, will participate in the 2007 Pan-American Games while representing their respective native countries.
All-American and senior Latonia Wilson will represent the United States in the women’s 200 meter dash to be run Wednesday, July 25, and in the women’s 4x400 relay to be run Saturday July 28.
Junior Nadia Alexander will represent Jamaica in the women’s shot put Friday, July 27, while senior Jason Morgan will compete for Jamaica in the discus Saturday, July 28.
Former Tech All-American Ayanna Alexander will compete for Trinidad and Tobago in the women’s triple jump Friday, as well.
