
![]() Louisiana Tech Men's Cross Country Heads to Mississippi State Invitational

RUSTON, La. - The Louisiana Tech men's cross country team hits the trails again Saturday morning as the Bulldogs will compete in the Mississippi State Invitational in Starkville. The meet, originally scheduled for 8 a.m., has been pushed back to a 9:30 a.m. start due to heavy rains falling all day Friday. The Bulldogs are coming off their season-opening meet - the Mook 4 - where a trio of LA Tech runners finished 7-8-9. Josh Slocum led the way as he finished seventh overall, running the four mile race in 21:52 while Jack Ramdstadt immediately followed with a time of 21:53 to finish eighth. Kyle Davis rounded out the trio at ninth with a mark of 21:57. LA Tech will be facing a field that includes host Mississippi State, Jackson State, Nicholls State, West Alabama, Alabama-Huntsville, Alcorn State and more.
