Basketball Set for LA Tech Sports Network

RUSTON - Louisiana Tech Sports Properties General Manager Mason Ellenberger announced Wednesday that all the Bulldog and Lady Techster basketball games as well as the weekly coaches radio show will air live on the LA Tech Sports Network this year.
The live broadcasts will begin with the first regular season game for both teams, starting with the Nov. 13 game between the Lady Techsters and Centenary and the Nov. 14 game between the Bulldogs and Texas Pan-American. Each radio broadcast will have a 30-minute pregame show followed by a post-game show.
The LA Tech Sports Network for basketball will consist of the flagship stations (ESPN for the women and KXKZ for the men) as well as KLKL 95.7 FM (Shreveport/Bossier), KBYO 92.7 FM (Monroe/Farmerville), and KVCL 92.1 FM (Winnfield).
Legendary broadcaster Dave Nitz will enter his 35th season as the Voice of Bulldog basketball and will be joined by color analyst Jack Thigpen for all home games and selected road games. Tech Associate AD Malcolm Butler will enter his 11th season as the Voice of Lady Techster basketball.
Inside Tech Basketball is a one-hour radio talk show and will air on the LA Tech Sports Network live from Counter Culture in downtown Ruston beginning Monday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m.
The show will feature a half hour segment with Lady Techster head coach Teresa Weatherspoon and Butler and Bulldog head coach Kerry Rupp and Nitz reviewing and previewing the latest with the two programs.
The audio stream for all basketball games and the video stream for all home games can be accessed at LA Tech All-Access via www.latechsports.com via a monthly or annual subscription.
