RUSTON - Just over 30 years have passed since the Thomas Assembly Center hosted its first college basketball games as the home to the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Lady Techsters has seen some great teams, players, coaches and opponents which have all led to many memorable games.
Since that night on Dec. 4, 1982 when Southern Cal and UL-Lafayette (then known as Southwestern Louisiana) spoiled the facility openers for both the Lady Techsters and Bulldogs, few opponents have been able to match the success that the Trojans and Ragin' Cajuns had that night.
As part of the celebration of the arena's 30-year anniversary, LATechSports.com has picked out 30 of the most memorable games as we relive some of the most incredible wins, heart-stopping finishes and big-time players who have ever graced the TAC floor.
With the Bulldogs having won 275 games and the Lady Techsters having won 414 games inside the confines of the Thomas Assembly Center, there were plenty of great games to choose from and plenty of incredible games that aren't included in the list below.
This just shows the amazing success that LA Tech teams have seen in Ruston over the past three decades.
LATechSports.com is asking Tech fans to rank their top 10 favorite moments from the list below as we will compile the votes over the next six weeks and release the fan voting in late-February.
