Dear Louisiana Tech fans,
This Saturday night at 7 p.m. we will be hosting a huge Western Athletic Conference game when the Fresno State Bulldogs come to Ruston.
During the course of this program's history, there have been so many important games played at the Thomas Assembly Center and this one will rank right up there among the biggest.
Less than a month ago, YOUR Lady Techster basketball team defeated this same Fresno State team 94-92 on the road in the first triple overtime game in the program's history. Now Fresno State is coming to Ruston.
And as the Under Armour commercial states ... WE MUST PROTECT OUR HOUSE! We need your help Saturday night!
These young ladies donning the red, white and Columbia blue Under Armour uniforms work hard to represent this University and the surrounding community.
I am urging all Louisiana Tech fans to come out in force this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Thomas Assembly Center and become our sixth man.
Paint yourself up in red and blue. Bring signs. Make noise. Be fanatical. Provide the home-court advantage that we need and show the Western Athletic Conference who has the best basketball fans around.
The outcome of this game will play a huge role in determining this year's WAC champion. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE as our fan-base is the heart and soul of all of our athletic teams.
We are currently undefeated in WAC play and have won eight straight games while Fresno State is only one game behind us in the standings - with their lone conference defeat coming to us three weeks ago.
We are starting to get some national recognition in the latest Top 25 polls, and a win this Saturday night over Fresno State will only increase our chances of returning to the Top 25.
This is also our NCAA Pack the House game and the theme is "FAIRwell Fresno State".
Prior to the game (starting at 4:30 p.m.) there will be plenty of free food, free fair rides and free giveaways out in the parking lot and front steps of the Thomas Assembly Center.
The first 300 people to the Tech Ticket Booth on Saturday (Ticket Booth opens at 4 p.m.) will get a free ticket to the game. All other tickets are ONLY $5.
For more ticket information, you can call our Ticket Office at 318-257-3631 or email them at email@example.com.
It will be a night full of great entertainment and you won't want to miss it. So get your friends and family together, come out this Saturday night and help us say FAIRwell to Fresno State.
