WNBA Draft to Be Televised on espn2

RUSTON - Today's 2003 WNBA Draft will be televised live on ESPN2 and NBA TV starting at noon central standard time.

ESPN2 will carry the draft through the first round while every round of the draft will be carried live on NBA TV and online at wnba.com, with complete analysis and comprehensive information on all 14 teams' selections.

WNBA President Val Ackerman will be in attendance to introduce the players selected who will be in attendance, including Louisiana Tech center Cheryl Ford. ESPN basketball commentators Ann Meyers, Doris Burke and Vera Jones will provide on-set analysis and interviews with those players in attendance.

Ford will be joined in New York by Tennessee's Kara Lawson and Gwen Jackson, Vanderbilt's Chantelle Anderson, Mississippi State's LaToya Thomas, and LSU's Aiysha Smith.

The Cleveland Rockers will have the first pick of the 2003 Draft.
