KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Teresa Weatherspoon will become the sixth member of the Louisiana Tech Lady Techster family to be inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame when the current LA Tech head coach is enshrined the weekend of June 11 and 12.

Weatherspoon headlines a prestigious group of inductees as part of the Class of 2010 as she joins Leta Andrews, Teresa Edwards, Rebecca Lobo, Gloria Ray and Chris Weller.

The weekend's events will kick off with a private event at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Friday evening and will culminate Saturday evening with the induction ceremony.

Louisiana Tech fans wishing to attend the Hall of Fame Induction can purchase tickets for $100 each by logging onto www.wbhof.com.

Weatherspoon will join five other former Lady Techsters in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame including Leon Barmore, Sonja Hogg, Kim Mulkey, Pam Kelly and Janice Lawrence.
