Lady Techster Day Camp Set for Shreveport

RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech’s nationally aclaimed women’s basketball program will take its camp show on the road in early August as Lady Techster assistant coach Katie Cochran-Hall will be in Shreveport conducting a day camp on Aug. 2 through 4 at Byrd High School.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon all three days in the Byrd High School Gym for any young girls entering grades three through eight this coming year. Cost is $75 per camper and the deadline to register via phone is July 23. To register or for more information, call the women’s basketball office at Louisiana Tech at 318-257-4111.

Cochran-Hall, who starred for Byrd High School in the mid 90s during the program’s run at two Class 5A Louisiana State Championship titles and a No. 1 ranking in the USA Today Top 25 poll her senior season, will conduct the three-day clinic which will focus on the fundamentals of basketball.
