Women?s Basketball Looking for Managers, Practice Players

RUSTON ? The Louisiana Tech Lady Techster basketball team is looking for team managers as well as practice players for the upcoming season.

The manager positions are paid positions and multiple spots are open. General basketball knowledge is needed although playing experience is not mandatory. Managers are required to be at workouts, practices, games and help with other duties within the program. There will be opportunities to travel with the team this year.

The practice players must be male, full-time undergraduate students enrolled at Louisiana Tech who have playing experience at the high school level. It?s on a voluntary basis and players will be used in practices and scrimmage situations a couple of afternoons a week starting in mid-October.

Practice players will execute the opponents? offenses and defenses as the Tech coaching staff installs game plans for upcoming contests. The Tech staff is looking for very athletic players as well as several players over 6-feet tall.
