RUSTON - Louisiana Tech returns to exhibition action Friday night at 7 p.m. when the Lady Techsters host Oklahoma Panhandle State at the Thomas Assembly Center.
Teresa Weatherspoon and Co. are coming off an 88-65 win in their first exhibition game of the season against Arkansas-Monticello in a contest that saw four players score in double figures.
Adrienne Johnson led Tech with 18 points and 13 rebounds while Angie Felton added 15 points, Whitney Jones 11 and Jelena Vucinic 10 points. Tarkeisha Wysinger-Mackey also added nine points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for LA Tech.
In that contest LA Tech shot almost 50 percent from the field and outrebounded the Cotton Blossoms by 19 en route to the victory.
Oklahoma Panhandle State is coming off an 8-19 season that saw them finish 3-11 in the Heartland Conference. The Division II program is led by head coach Brad Vanden Boogard.
