Techster Class Ranked 18th Nationally

RUSTON - Louisiana Tech's early period signing class is ranked No. 18th nationally by Michael White's All-Star Girls Report.

Head coach Kurt Budke and his staff inked four high school standouts during November while Colorado transfer Amber Metoyer is also included in the class.

"The Lady Techsters class may have been small in stature, but Coach Kurt Budke added five players who should all contribute in the near future," states the publication.

According to the publication, guard Eboni Mangum - rated as the 18th best player in the country - headlines the class.

"Eboni Mangum is a classic Louisiana Tech guard. She's jet quick, she loves to push the ball up the court, and she knows how to get to the rim."

Joining Mangum in the class is forward Clorice Kursh (6-1, No. 71), guard Quantae Thomas (5-11, No. 179), guard Jessica Houston (5-6, No. 184) and Metoyer (5-11, No. 4 transfer).

Louisiana Tech is the only program ranked in the top 20 by Michael White that isn't a member of the Southeastern, Big 12, Big 10, Pac-10, Atlantic Coast or Big East Conferences.
