Bowling Set to Hold Tryouts for 2013-14 Season

RUSTON, La. - Head coach Jerry Miles along with the Louisiana Tech bowling team will hold bowling tryouts for LA Tech students interested in competing with the squad for the 2013-14 season.

The tryouts will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2 in the bowling alley in Lambright Sports and Wellness Center on the campus of Louisiana Tech.

For students interested, participants are encouraged to try out for the LA Tech bowling team if they have any prior experience in high school or league bowling competition. Participants are also encouraged to have an average score of 170 or above, and average verification is helpful.

Interested students will need to bring their personal equipment in order to participate in this year's tryouts.

Tryouts will be officially held by USBC Bronze level and Louisiana Tech bowling head coach Jerry Miles.
