Binni Keleta begins his first season as an assistant coach for the Lady Techsters after previously coaching at the high school and college club levels. His coaching career began in 2005 at Ruston High School in Ruston, La. Kelta coached the boys' varsity team for two years, compiling a 36-17 record, including the program's best ever at 23-5 in the 2006-07 season. The same year, he won Coach of the Year for Division 1 District 2 and led the team to their first ever tournament championship in the Bossier Bearkat Classic. In 2007, Keleta took over as the head coach of the Louisiana Tech men's club soccer team. During his first season, the team reached the regionals in San Antonio, Texas. He has a grade eight LHSAA referee license and a United States Soccer Federation's "E" coaching license. The Ruston native was a three-year letterwinner and member of the first boys' soccer team at Ruston High School. During his senior year, Keleta was named to the second-team all-District and helped lead the team to the school to its first district title and playoff appearance. Along with soccer, Keleta has also been involved with football. He was the color analyst for Cedar Creek High School, 2006-07, and West Ouachita High School, 2009-10, for ESPN Radio in Ruston, La. In 2010, he interned with the Independence Bowl, assisting with setting up game festivities and with the teams' hotel stay. Keleta earned his bachelor's degree from Tech in 2008. This past December he finished up his master's degree from Grambling State in sport administration.
