Chelsea Woodger

Chelsea Woodger joins the Lady Techster soccer coaching staff after playing four years for Head Coach Kevin Sherry at Graceland University. Woodger played in the center of defense and led the team to an undefeated 18-0-5 record. She also captained the Lady Yellowjackets to the 2004-05 NAIA Final Four game of the National Championships. She was awarded NAIA All-American Academic recognitions as well as the 2004 Champions of Character Award and various recognitions from the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) as well.

Woodger graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science, with minors in English Literature, International Studies, Peace Studies and Spanish. She will be working towards her Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance at Louisiana Tech.

After graduating from Graceland, Woodger spent two years teaching English as a Second Language at Nomen Global Language Centers. She then served a year and a half mission in Peru for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from May 2006 - December 2007. She is engaged to be married in December of 2008.
