RUSTON-- In their final game of the season, the Lady Techsters (7-10-0; 0-7-0 WAC) were downed by the Boise State Lady Broncos (10-7-2; 4-3-0 WAC) 5-0 Sunday afternoon at Joe Aillet Stadium.
The Lady Broncos got their first goal on an unassisted score from Randi Baker in the twenty-third minute. Neither team score for the remainder of the half, and Boise State took the 1-0 lead into halftime.
The Lady Broncos would then score four second-half goals beginning with a strike from Brennan Lau in the 50th minute, while slightly over a minute later Kristin Hall hit for Boise. Both goals were unassisted.
In the 79th minute, Sophie Parrish connected for the Lady Broncos and Chelsy Skaw hit for the final goal of the afternoon to give Boise State the 5-0 victory.
The Techsters will have next season to look forward to as six other WAC teams had already clinched their respective berths in the WAC tournament. Tech only loses one senior from the squad in Julie Hadzic.
