LA Tech Soccer Set to Host Relay for Life Easter Egg Hunt

RUSTON - The Louisiana Tech soccer team will be hosting a "Relay for Life Easter Egg Hunt" on Sunday, March 24 from 2-4:30 p.m. on campus as part of its continued fundraising for the Relay for Life efforts.

The event will take place in the campus quad near the Lady of the Mist for kids in the local community.

The cost is $3 per child and the Easter egg hunt will be broken up into three age groups. First graders and below will be from 2-2:30, second graders through fifth graders will be from 3-3:30 and sixth graders through eighth graders will be from 4-4:30.

Activities will also include a water balloon toss, free face painting, soccer scrimmages, bake sale, guessing games and more with prizes awarded in each age group.

Water and soft drinks will be available throughout the fundraiser.

All proceeds made at this event will go directly to the Relay for Life fundraising. After the conclusion of the event, kids can stick around and play games with the Lady Techster soccer players.

Relay for Life is the main volunteer-driven cancer fundraising of the American Cancer Society.
