RUSTON - Louisiana Tech head coach Kevin Sherry announced today the addition of Lisanne Kleygrewe to the 2014 signing class.
Kleygrewe is a versatile player who can play midfield or defense and will provide more depth and athleticism for Sherry who previously inked 11 players in February.
"Lisanne brings a lot of strengths to our squad," said Sherry. "She has great technique, good pace, and reads the game well. She can play both midfield and defense which gives us a lot more options with regards to team setup and style.
"I believe Lisanne is a great addition to what is already developing into a very good team and joins a highly-talented freshman group starting in the fall."
The German native also brings leadership qualities as she is currently the team captain of her current club FSV Gutersloh.
She was a member of the extended U16 German National Team in 2011 and the U17 German National Team in 2012 as well as being a member of the U15, U17 and U19 State All-Star team.
Kleygrewe was also part of the U17 West German Championship squad in back-to-back years.
