BATON ROUGE - Louisiana Tech head soccer coach Kevin Sherry has been chosen by the Louisiana Soccer Association to give a presentation at the summer AGM in New Orleans on July 20th.

Now in his seventh season as the head coach of the Lady Techsters and his 13th overall in Division I college coaching, the reigning LSWA Coach of the Year will be conducting a presentation on "How do I become a College Soccer Player?"

On the field, Sherry's squad amazed last season finishing with a 12-5-4 record that included an 11-match unbeaten streak, one of which was a 1-1 tie with nationally ranked Denver.

Off the field, the players amazed even more so in the classroom by posting a cumulative GPA of 3.57, the 13th highest average GPA of the 502 women's soccer programs in the country.

Sherry joins Paul Ellis, Soccer Academy Inc. and US National staff coach, as the two guest speakers for the event.
