Tech Soccer Loses to Hawaii 3-0

RUSTON-- The Lady Techsters (7-5-0, 0-2) were shut out for the second game in a row; this time 3-0 to the Hawaii Wahine (6-6-2, 3-0) at the Lady Techster Soccer Field Friday afternoon.
The loss is the second in a row for Tech as they drop to 0-2 in conference play.
Hawaii struck first in the 15th minute with a goal from Koren Takeyama and got another score 24 minutes later from Natasha Kai for a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
Kai scored again in the 55th minute of the match for her second goal. She accumulated 16 shots out of Hawaii?s total of 38.
For the second match in a row, Tech was held to two shots.
The Lady Techsters return to action Sunday at noon when the San Jose State Lady Spartans come to Joe Aillet Stadium.
