Tech Soccer Hosts Nevada Sunday at Noon

RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech will try to rebound from a heartbreaking double overtime loss to Fresno State when the Lady Techsters host Nevada Sunday at noon in Western Athletic Conference soccer action at Ruston Junior High School.

Tech (10-3-3, 0-1-2) fell 1-0 to Fresno State late Friday night on a goal scored with 1:19 to play in the second overtime while Nevada (1-11-2, 1-2-0) lost 4-3 at Utah State.

The Lady Techsters are currently in fifth place in the eight-team WAC standings with two points while Nevada is tied for third with three points.

Nevada leads the all-time series with Tech 3-0 and has outscored the Lady Techsters 15-1 in the three games.
