With a birth to the 2016 Conference USA Tournament on the line, Louisiana Tech (29-19, 10-8 C-USA) will wrap up regular season play with a three-game series at Charlotte (31-21, 10-11 C-USA).
For the third time this season, the Lady Techsters fell just short of a signature SEC-win dropping a 3-1 decision to Ole Miss (37-17) on Wednesday night at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.
With the regular season quickly coming to an end, Louisiana Tech (29-18) will welcome Ole Miss (36-17) to the Lady Techster Softball Complex for the final home game of the 2016 season.

At the end of the day on Saturday, the Lady Techsters ended up right back where they started in the conference standings, after splitting a pair of games with Southern Miss at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.
Last weekend, a sweep of North Texas gave the Lady Techsters three consecutive conference series victories for just the second time in school history. A series win at home this weekend, would give the Techsters four series victories in a row for the first time in school history.
Due scheduling conflicts with Grambling and the Southwestern Athletic Conference, Louisiana Tech’s game against Grambling this afternoon has been cancelled.
LA Tech’s four game winning streak came to a close on Tuesday as the Lady Techsters fell to Stephen F. Austin 3-1 in Nacogdoches, Texas.
