Tech Softball To Be Televised ESPNU

RUSTON - ESPNU today announced today that it will televise the Louisiana Tech at Fresno State Western Athletic Conference softball game Friday, May 7. First pitch is scheduled for 10 p.m. (CT).

The contest will feature reigning WAC Player of the Year Amberly Waits of Louisiana Tech and the WAC Preseason Pitcher of the Year Morgan Melloh of Fresno State. Waits was recently selected by the Chicago Bandits with the eighth overall pick in the 2010 National Pro Fastpitch College Senior Draft. Melloh threw her first career no-hitter last weekend and has 934 strikeouts in her Bulldog career, good for second place all-time in both the WAC and Fresno State record books.
