The Techsters enter the tournament sporting an impressive .325 team batting average with six Tech players hitting .300 or better, led by freshman Danielle Sheridan (.478), sophomore Regan Clark (.438), sophomore Rochelle Sandberg (.406), freshman Emma Barnes (.361), junior Ashley Cameron (.344) and sophomore Lianne Albert (.313). Freshmen Courtney Avery (1-2, 2.42 ERA) and Krissi Oliver (1.3, 4.20 ERA) have been Louisiana Tech’s top pitchers thus far this season and Dawson said she expects the duo along with sophomore Lesley Aycock (2-2, 6.49 ERA) to all see action this weekend.
