AUBURN, Ala. - Louisiana Tech will take its modest three-game winning streak to Auburn this weekend to compete in the War Eagle Classic Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Lady Techsters (7-5) will play four games in three days, starting with Friday's 10 a.m. contest against Gardner-Webb (7-5) and a 12:30 p.m. game against the host Tigers (9-6).

Tech will then play Alabama State Saturday at 3 p.m. and Tennessee State Sunday at 9 a.m.

Lady Techster fans can follow all of the action this weekend via gametracker by logging onto www.auburntigers.com. Tech fans can also hear the Auburn radio broadcast for the contest against the Tigers Friday on the same site.

LA Tech will turn to a trio of arms as junior Meghan Krieg (5-4, 1.67 ERA) has been the most productive as the 2nd team all-Western Athletic Conference selection from a season ago has recorded six complete-game performances while recording 70 strikeouts in 54.1 innings of work.

Freshmen Michelle Jones and Janna Frandrup should also see playing time in the circle this weekend as the young duo continue to make progress for head coach Sarah Dawson.

Senior shortstop Amberly Waits (.500, 18 hits, 3 HR, 10 RBI, 13 runs) leads Tech offensively as the reigning WAC Player of the Year needs only four more home runs and 13 more hits to become the program's all-time career leader in both categories.

Freshman Meghan Knowles (.467, 1 HR, 6 RBI) and sophomore Amanda Parsonage (.333, 2 HR, 5 RBI) also sport impressive batting averages through the first 12 games of the year.
