LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Louisiana Tech's Western Athletic Conference Tournament opener against Fresno State Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT will air live on ESPN 97.7 FM.
Associate Athletics Director Malcolm Butler will provide the call of the game with the pregame show starting at 7:50 p.m.
The Lady Techsters enter the tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face the No. 3 seeded Bulldogs, who are led by Hall of Fame coach Margie Wright. The 33-year-old veteran of the Fresno State dugout who led the program to 1,297 wins and the 1998 national championship title announced her retirement Sunday.
Tech is 9-10 all-time in WAC Tournament games and is one of only three programs (Hawaii, Fresno State) that has qualified for every league tournament since 2006.
