LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - Dacia Hale set a Louisiana Tech single game and WAC Tournament single game record with eight RBI as the Lady Techsters lead perennial NCAA Tournament team Fresno State 13-7 in the top of the fifth inning in a rain-halted contest.

The two teams will resume play Thursday at 10:30 a.m. CT with the Lady Techsters still batting in the top of the fifth inning.

Hale blasted a grand slam and a three-run home run and added a based loaded walk to record her eight RBI, snapping Allison White's previous record of seven RBI.

Freshman Alayna Kipp has added two hits and two RBI, including a solo home run in the fourth.
