LA Tech versus Grambling 2/15/14
Former Lady Techster star Vivian ten Dolle begins her second season as assistant coach for Chad Camper and the Louisiana Tech tennis team.
Ten Dolle helped the team post a 15-7 overall record, including a program-record 11 match winning streak. The squad posted victories over C-USA foes Middle Tennessee, UAB and Florida Atlantic which helped them earn a No. 5 seed in the team's first year in Conference USA, one of the top mid-major conferences in the country.
The Lady Techsters defeated the Blazers a second time in the tourney before dropping a hard-fought match to Marshall in the quarterfinals.
Ten Dolle previously served alongside interim head coach Katherine Reigelman during the 2013 fall season.
In four fall regional tournaments, LA Tech compiled 72 total wins along with six main draw flight wins in singles and three in doubles. Combining main draw and consolation, the Lady Techsters had 20 flight finals appearances.
Ten Dolle was a two-time All-WAC selection during her four years (2009-13) at LA Tech and finished her career with 45 dual match wins, the fourth most in program history.
