High School: Wedderburn played all four years in high school and served as the team captain as well and played in the No. 1 slot...Won individual district championship three times and was a regional semi-finalist three years...Was named Most Outstanding Varsity Player and MVP her freshman year...She also trained at Elite TNT Tennis Academy in Houston and was ranked in the Top 25 in the state of Texas.

Personal: Full name is Ashley Nicole Wedderburn...Daughter of Steve and Anthonett Wedderburn...Has one sister Andrea (25) and brother Stephen (18)...Father Steve played tennis for Oklahoma City University from 1973-76 and was a three-time All-American. He reached the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament in 1974 and the quarterfinals in the next two. In 1976 he was named captain of the USA Collegiate team that played in Japan. He played for the Junior Davis Cup for Australia, was ranked as high as No. 93 in the world and defeated tennis legend John McEnroe in a match...Born Nov. 25, 1986 in Spring, Texas...Majoring in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in child life.
