RUSTON - Louisiana Tech improved its home tennis record to 8-1 with a 6-1 win over Jackson State on Wednesday at the Louisiana Tech Tennis Complex.
The Lady Techsters started the day with an 8-3 win by Elne Barnard and Anna Zurek in No. 1 doubles and then an 8-4 win by Vivian ten Dolle and Maartje de Wit in No. 2 doubles. Elne Barnard improved her No. 1 singles record to 8-6 following a 6-1, 6-3 win over Victoria Guedez. Vivian ten Dolle pulled out a tough match against Britney Shy Nelson. The sophomore won 7-6, 7-5 in the No. 2 position to improve to 7-2 on the season.
