LA Tech-McNeese State have Make-Up Match on Monday
Feb. 11, 2018
RUSTON – After having the original match suspended due to rain, Louisiana Tech and McNeese State will face off again on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Nancy Hanks Tennis Center.
On Feb. 3, the two teams started things off in singles and all six courts were in the middle of the first set when a second rain delay ended up whipping out the entire match in Lake Charles.
Since then, LA Tech (1-2) has had two other road games. They defeated Louisiana-Lafayette, 4-3, but most recently loss 5-2 to Sam Houston State.
The Lady Techsters have been forced to play from behind in all three dual matches this season, dropping the doubles point in all three.
For McNeese State (0-0), Monday’s match will still be its spring dual opener. Leading the way for the Cowgirls is Hannah Brett who was selected First Team All-Southland last season after putting together a 16-4 singles record.
The Lady Techsters have won three straight matches in the series, including a 5-0 victory last season at home in Ruston.
