RUSTON, La. -
Eight home matches highlight the 2011 Louisiana Tech women's tennis schedule that starts with a match against Jacksonville State in Hattiesburg, Miss. on Jan. 29.
Following the match against Jacksonville State, the Lady Techsters remain in Hattiesburg to play Southern Miss on Jan. 30. After a match at Northwestern State on Feb. 5, Louisiana Tech hosts its first home match against Southern on Feb. 11 and then the next day, host Central Arkansas.
On Feb. 13, Tech plays at Stephen F. Austin before starting a string of six consecutive home matches. Conference USA opponent Houston travels to Tech on Feb. 18 followed by Southeastern Louisiana (Feb. 19), Jackson State (March 5), Alcorn State (March 10), Fresno State (March 12) and Nicholls State (March 22).
On April 2, the Lady Techsters travel to Honolulu, Hawai'i for Western Athletic Conference play against Idaho and Hawai'i. Tech travels to UALR on April 9 before wrapping up regular season play at New Mexico State on April 16.
The WAC Tournament will take place in Boise, Idaho April 28-30.
