Former Louisiana Tech volleyball player Gabryel Ording enters her second season on the LA Tech coaching staff as she joined the Lady Techsters for the 2013 season as an assistant coach.

"I am happy to welcome Gabryel Ording back to Louisiana Tech University as one of our assistant coaches," de Souza said. "Her return to Louisiana Tech Volleyball is a great asset for our program. She has the values and the mindset that I look for in assistant coaches".

Ording completed her senior season and earned her bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech in Kinesiology in November 2012.

Over the course of her time at Louisiana Tech, Ording lettered all four years and was also the volleyball program representative in the SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee).

Ording has now returned to Louisiana Tech to continue using her work ethic and knowledge to continue the development of the Lady Techster Volleyball Program.

While a student-athlete at Louisiana Tech, Ording was not only always prepared for all the practices and matches she competed in, but she was also a leader who contributed to the organization and development of the program on and off the court, de Souza added.

"To the benefit of our student-athletes, Gabryel will continue to be a great example of responsibility and dedication to our program."
