Gabryel Ording Hometown: Custer Park, Ill. Last College: Louisiana Tech Position: Assistant Coach

Former Louisiana Tech volleyball student-athlete Gabryel Ording is set to join the Lady Techster coaching staff for the 2013 season as an assistant coach, head coach Adriano de Souza announced Thursday.

"I am happy to welcome Gabryel Ording back to Louisiana Tech University as one of our assistant coaches," de Souza said. "Her return to Louisiana Tech Volleyball is a great asset for our program. She has the values and the mindset that I look for in assistant coaches".

Ording completed her senior season in 2012 and earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology last November. During her time at Louisiana Tech she was also the volleyball program representative in the SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee). She now returns to Louisiana Tech Volleyball to continue using her work ethic and knowledge to the development of the Lady Techster Volleyball Program.

While a student-athlete at Louisiana Tech, Ording was not only always prepared for all the practices and matches she competed in, but she was also a leader who contributed to the organization and development of the program on and off the court, de Souza added.

"To the benefit of our student-athletes, Gabryel will continue to be a great example of responsibility and dedication to our program."
