LAS CRUCES, N.M.--The Lady Techster volleyball team dropped their second match of a four match road stretch Saturday afternoon as New Mexico State (10-5, 5-1 WAC) downed Tech in three sets at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, N.M. Set scores were 25-18, 25-16 and 25-15.

For the second match in a row the Techsters (12-10, 2-4 WAC) had trouble getting into a groove on offense as Tech recorded a .082 hitting percentage in the match.

Tech got off to a rough start in the first set as the Aggies steadily built an 18-10 lead in the set and would not look back going on to win the set 25-18 over the Techsters.

Louisiana Tech battled throughout the entire second set before New Mexico State would go on a 7-0 run to end the set 25-16.

The third set seemed to be more of the same as the Techsters were unable to slow the Aggie offense and New Mexico State would go on to a 25-15 set win ending the match.

Sophomore Nataliya Panova led all Techsters with six kills in the match as junior Jennifer Goodwin led the team with 11 digs.

Tech returns to action on October 14 as the y travel to Honolulu, Hawaii to take on Hawaii at 11:00 p.m. CT.
