RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech (9-16; 0-8 WAC) fell to the New Mexico State Aggies (18-5; 7-1 WAC), in three sets (25-16, 25-14, 25-22) in the Thomas Assembly Center Saturday evening.
Leading the Lady Techsters with 20 assists was Bianca Bin. Marcella Braz led with seven kills. Junior Nataliya Panova led all Lady Techsters with 11 digs. Emily Maher recorded a game-high five blocks. Louisiana Tech had four players with two or more blocks; Maher, Germany and Panova with three and Vido with two.
Leading the Aggies of New Mexico State with a double-double apiece were Jennah DeVries with 29 assists and 14 digs and Meredith Hays with 13 kills and 12 digs. Kelsi Phillips also recorded double-digit digs with 11.
Louisiana Tech travels to face conference rivals Idaho and Utah State on Oct. 27 and Oct. 29, respectively.
