RUSTON, La. - The Louisiana Tech volleyball team defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff in straight sets (25-14, 25-20, 25-11) on senior night in which the team's lone senior Bianca Bin was honored prior to the match.
Bin registered a game high 20 assists, giving her 803 assists for the season to give her 3,436 for her career which ranks fourth all-time in Tech history. She also recorded the last kill to win the match for the Lady Techsters. Nataliya Panova and Stephany Salas recorded 12 digs and 13 digs, respectively.
Tech got off to a fast start, recording 16 kills and 17 digs in the first set with an attack percentage of .438.
The Lady Lions were led by Lorin Johnson who registered a game high 16 digs. Mica Franklin and Alicia Campbell also recorded double-digit digs with 12 and 10, respectively.
The Lady Techsters finished their season with a 10-22 record. Marcella Braz led all Tech players with 216 kills while Stephany Salas registered 407 digs for the season and ranked first in the Western Athletic Conference in digs/set with 4.64.
