RUSTON, La. - Head coach Adriano de Souza and the Louisiana Tech volleyball program is now offering a series of summer volleyball camps coming up in the months of June and July for boys and girls in grades 4-8 and 9-12.
Those interested are invited to participate and gain fun, valuable volleyball experiences from the LA Tech coaching staff and players of the Lady Techster volleyball squad over the course of the summer camps.
The first set of camps will be offered June 12-13 and June 17-18 in the Thomas Assembly Center, while the second round of youth camps and skills camps will be held July 26-27 at Lambright Intramural Center.
The volleyball youth camps welcome participants in grades 4-8 and will receive a volleyball camp T-shirt, which is included in a $45 camp fee. For the first all skills camp from June 17-18, boys and girls in grades 9-12 can participate in a series of volleyball drills and workouts from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. for a charge of $95, which also includes a camp T-shirt. In the second all skills camp on July 26-27, students in grades 9-12 will meet from 1:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Lambright Intramural Center for a charge of $85.
Participants are asked to bring lunch or a snack for breaks in between sessions and are asked to wear athletic shorts, a T-shirt and gym shoes to the summer camps.
