Techsters Stay Tough in Games One and Two against Lady Aggies

RUSTON -- After giving the Utah State Lady Aggies problems in games one and two, the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters (5-12; 0-4 WAC) were unable to win the match Saturday night falling in three games.

The Techsters stayed close in the first two games and lost by scores of 27-30 and 27-30
while hitting .278 and .208. Utah State (6-7; 3-1 WAC) took game three 15-30.

The Techsters were led by seniors Kristen Fairbanks and Shannon Phillips who finished with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Senior setter Jill Walker finished with 33 assists.

Tech will return to action Thursday, Sept. 27 for another home conference match with Idaho at 7 p.m. in the Lambright Intramural Center.
