RUSTON -- The Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters (1-7; 0-2 WAC) will finally play a match originally scheduled earlier in the season that was postponed due to Hurricane Gustav against Northwestern State (4-4; 0-1 SLC) Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. in the Thomas Assembly Center.

The Techsters dropped a couple of close conference matches last week; first against Nevada in five games and then to Fresno State in four. The Lady Demons, on the other hand, are on a two-match winning streak.

Junior KC Clayton leads the Techsters with 2.11 kills per set, while junior Sam Crowder is not far behind at 2.00 kills per set. The Lady Demons are led by Yelena Enwere at 3.86 kills per set.

Last season, the Lady Demons bested Tech in five sets in Natchitoches.
