"Our team is looking forward to playing at home again," head coach Adriano de Souza said. "As for Texas State and UTSA, they are both very good teams. I am sure our players will prepare well for these next two opponents and I hope we put our best effort during our matches this week." With just five games remaining on the schedule, Tech (3-22, 0-13 WAC) comes into the match looking to break a 16-match losing streak and notch its first win at home since Sept. 5. Texas State leads the all-time series between the two schools with a 5-2 record, and is seventh in the WAC standings with a 12-12 record on the year and a 7-6 mark in conference play. After Thursday's match against the Bobcats, Tech will return to action at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 in the Thomas Assembly Center to face the Roadrunners of UTSA. Saturday will also mark Senior Day for the Lady Techsters' two seniors this season, Gabryel Ording and Stephany Salas, with a ceremony applauding the two players immediately following the match.
