
![]() LA Tech Volleyball Set to Face Redhawks in Seattle

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech will continue its late season road stretch at 9 p.m. Saturday night as the Lady Techster volleyball team will battle the Seattle U Redhawks in the Connolly Center in Seattle, Wash. in conference play. The Techsters are coming off a straight-set loss at the hands of Idaho Thursday evening and will look to break a 19-game losing streak against the host Redhawks. The last time these two teams met marked the first and only five-set match Tech has played this season, and resulted in a tight five-set defeat for the Lady Techsters on their home floor.

The Techsters are led by a pair of juniors in Caitlin Germany and Clara Vido, with Germany totaling a team-leading 61 blocks thus far, while Vido leads the team in kills with 214 on the year. After the match in Seattle, the Techsters will travel to UT Arlington to face off against the Mavericks in the team's final match of the 2012 campaign. That match is set to begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at College Park Center on the campus of UT Arlington.
