RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech will continue its late season road stretch at 9 p.m. Saturday night as the Lady Techster volleyball team will battle the Seattle U Redhawks in the Connolly Center in Seattle, Wash. in conference play.
The Techsters are coming off a straight-set loss at the hands of Idaho Thursday evening and will look to break a 19-game losing streak against the host Redhawks.
The last time these two teams met marked the first and only five-set match Tech has played this season, and resulted in a tight five-set defeat for the Lady Techsters on their home floor.
Seattle U, ranked seventh in the WAC standings, is coming off another five-set win over UT Arlington Thursday night at home. The Redhawks have pushed nine of their matches this season to five sets with five of those resulting in wins.
After the match in Seattle, the Techsters will travel to UT Arlington to face off against the Mavericks in the team's final match of the 2012 campaign. That match is set to begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at College Park Center on the campus of UT Arlington.
